Are You Holding Yourself Back?
We live in a world where chaos has become more comfortable than the peace that would set us free. From what, you ask? Everything that we’ve dreamt of being free of without even a clue as to how to cast light on this liberation. What if I told you that you are part of the problem? You may feel attacked, maybe feeling that not-so-gentle twist in your gut before defensiveness rushes in. Please, hear me out.

3 Tips To Lose 20 Pounds in 1 Month (Real Results from Experience)
Every mother has been through the longest journey of life, thrown into another one for 18 more years (actually an eternity lol) talked to crazy, have had one or more sets of eyes rolled at them, and taken far more than this world should allow. All of this to turn around and have such high expectations placed upon us in aspects of life far beyond our control. One thing I’ve found that I can control (with a lot of grace and practice) is my weight.

4 Yoga Positions for Better Sex
We can all agree that sex has become just about as normalized in society as pineapples on pizza. Some people LOVE to talk about sex. The very euphoric feeling of sharing soul connections with someone you truly love or the notorious hit it and quit it. Regardless of the type of sex, it is a universal pleasure that we as people have come to master in many unique ways. On the contrary, some people are repulsed by the very thought of sexual conversations. They can’t sit with us.

Mommy's Birthday Break
It seems that after we spend nine months carrying tiny versions of ourselves only to lose our identities to this one role. Motherhood. For me, at least, I have lost myself in motherhood. Every single day I wake up and do the exact same thing. I get my daughter ready to go to my grandmother's house a handful of days out of the week so that I can go to work. The days my daughter is home with me our mornings are busy with breakfast, learning some new ASL signs, and watching Song For Littles. (Rachel is a huge celeb in our household). This, followed by many attempts to study, complete assignments, and submit projects on time. I love our life together. Being my daughter's mother is my very favorite part of life. Raising a one year old has been so much fun. The not so dope part about it is, sometimes I feel like it is all that I do.

The Instagram Hacker (Part One)
For years it had seemed that my skills as a P.I. had only been confined to the group chat where my girls and I would swap information about the men we'd meet. I hardly had the time to be Keisha Bond, what with my two jobs, school, and three Yorkies. Yasmine, Wanda, and Cleo made being a fur mom the most pleasurable experience. Life had been busy for me lately, but my girls counted on me to get the job done when it came to finding out the tea on their men. I didn't mind. It felt like my purpose in this small town of Madison, Georgia.

5 Serial Killers Who Were Never Caught
Monsters linger amongst the shadows of society. They are our friends, our teachers, our doctors, our cashiers, and our neighbors. They are us. It is hard to acknowledge the harsh reality that some people are born evil. Others are a product of a putrid environment. There are many ways a person could get so low, but you would never think someone would get as low as to take another person’s life.

Emotional Intelligence in Motherhood
Motherhood Monsters linger among us. As mothers, we do our best to protect our little ones from the evil lurking in society's shadows. We do everything we can to protect our sons and daughters from people immersed in a thick layer of schadenfreude. So why wouldn't we do absolutely everything we can to protect them from the trauma we have endured as children?

Deadbeats Should Be Criminally Charged
As much as people are trying to force women to birth children, the government should really take steps to start charging deadbeat fathers. Hell, even deadbeat mothers. It’s exhausting the notion that as a single mother I have to wake up every single day to do this entirely on my own.

4 Signs of Cheating In a Relationship
Many of us have gone through one of the worst things that you can feel. Cheating. Imagine being so in love with someone. You'd do anything for them. Their existence in many ways makes you whole. Their presence is like home. The love they give you touches your soul like a warm hug. The pain you have felt during the time you lived without them vanishes into pure bliss.

Single Mother Guilt
One thing that I always imagine for myself was a greater life for my child than I had ever been afforded. I wanted my little one to have all the things I never had, experience all the things I never did, and never be fearful to tell me a single thing. I've always had this perfect vision of me along side the man of my dreams raising beautiful children in an emotionally healthy home. My dreams were shattered and it left me feeling like I had truly failed.

3 Ways Relieve Anxiety Naturally
I will never be the person to shame a single soul for being prescribed anxiety medication. Anxiety medications are prescribed for a reason. Nobody should ever be made to feel that they are different or less than because of them. Taking care of your mind and your body is such an important aspect of living a life that is fruitful and full of meaning.
