13. Montauk Beach Home—Bernie Madoff

Now sold for $21 million dollars after Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in federal prison for one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in history, this 3,000-square-foot home sits on a beachfront plot at the easternmost end of Long Island.

The house has 180 feet of direct ocean frontage and was purchased by Madoff for $9 million dollars, with an extensive renovation taking place a few days later.

The house has a gunite swimming pool, overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, has three bedrooms, and a master bathroom with heated travertine floors and onyx surfaces.

There is also a fully mastered kitchen with ocean views, a large central table, and the living room has a barrel-vaulted ceiling and plenty of natural light via a number of large, high windows.

12. Bentley Continental GT—Lil Kim

In 2005, rapper Lil Kim served one year for lying to a federal grand jury about a friend’s involvement in a shooting.

She once owned a Bentley Continental GT, however, this was repossessed during the middle of a news report with CW11 live on air.

The car has a top speed of 206.9 mph, a 6.0L V12 engine and will cost more than $200,000 for a brand new model.

The decor features an “abandoned factory” chic with baroque detailing and there’s a standard VIP area, along with a completely secluded VVIP area.

The club is co-owned by well-known businessman Dennis Papageorgiou and was created to revive the local Athenian clubbing scene and bring people together.

Accused of running an $8 billion (£5.7 billion) securities fraud, Sir Allen Stanford was found to have ownership of Guiana Island after an investigation by the governments of Antigua and Barbuda.

The island is located off the northeast coast of Antigua, between the Parham Peninsula and Crump Island, being the fourth largest island of Antigua and Barbuda.

The island is a known refuge for the Fallow Deer, Antigua's national animal ,and was sold to an investment company after Stanford went to prison.

Guiana Island Project will see the development of the largest free trade zone in the country, including an off-shore financial center, a five-star luxury resort, villa communities, casino and gaming complex, multi-purpose conference center, and a 27 hole golf course.

9. Elkins Park Home—Bill Cosby

Purchased for just shy of a quarter of a million dollars, the mansion lies on three acres of land and plays host to several auxiliary buildings.

After, Cosby was sentenced to 10 years in state prison for the 2004 drugging and assault of Andrea Constand in his Cheltenham home.

The home has seven bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, and was originally built in 1800 with it currently valued at around $775,000 dollars.

This residence is where Cosby and wife of 50 years, Camille, spent most of their time together, and she moved out shortly after Cosby was convicted, saying the media "eliminated the possibility for a fair trial"

8. Pyrenees Castle—Phil Spector

Sitting above the town of Alhambra like a feudal fortress of rural France, Phil Spector's former castle features a red tiled roof and a secure gated entrance.

The home has its own game room and bar area, was built in 1926, and is thought to contain around 36 rooms altogether.

The home has mirrored walls, a cranberry carpet, and knights stand guard in the entrance with him paying $1.1 million dollars for the property in 1998.

The castle-like-home is rumored to be haunted and Spector is suing local governments from inside prison because he says a construction project is “destroying his house."

7. Malibu Cliff Mansion—Suge Knight

Sentenced to 28 years in prison for a hit and run incident, Suge Knight's former home is located in Rambla Pacifico Street, Malibu, CA.

The home, which is thought to be worth around $6.2 million dollars, covers 8,272 square feet, has seven bedrooms, and nine and a half bathrooms.

It has wide ocean views from luxurious rooms with soaring ceilings and is perched above both La Costa and Carbon Beaches.

This impressive gated estate was built in the year 2000 on a 6.79 acre lot and was sold with the adjoining 2.11 acres for a total of 8.76 acres.

The creator of Death Row Records purchased the home for $3.7 million dollars in 2002 and after a series of unlucky events, ended up bankrupt and $13,400,000 in debt.

6. Brentwood Home—OJ Simpson

One of the most famous criminals in America, OJ Simpson was famously acquitted of murdering his ex-wife only to be jailed many years later for an armed robbery gone wrong.

He was once a professional American Football Player and his 1973 record of 2,003 yards rushed in a single season with the Buffalo Bills still stands for the 14 game seasons.

Standing on over 6,000 square feet and purchased in 1977 for $650,000 dollars, the home was later purchased by a new owner for $4 million before it was subsequently demolished in 1998.

Years after the demolition, people are still said to flock to the site and extra security was ultimately a necessity to keep the house safe.

Sold in 2010 for $8 million dollars, the infamous Manhattan penthouse where Mr. Madoff and his wife, Ruth, spent most of their time now has an estimated value above $13 million.

Located on East 64th Street in New York City, this is the duplex apartment where Mr. Madoff spent his time under house arrest.

It had three bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms and a sprawling terrace with triple exposures and some fantastic views.

The new owners have since modernized the interior of the apartment, allowing light in through the Greek-inspired window frames.

The 63 acre retreat was purchased by Martha Stewart in 1997 and features over a dozen bedrooms and several outbuildings for living and entertaining.

There is an amazing terrace with Kiwi vines climbing up the rear of the house and the 60 foot long beamed living hall is the main feature of this amazing home.

Having served three years for tax evasion, this movie star has a very interesting car collection, but one car stands out more than any other and that is the super fast BMW i8.

It has a top speed of 155.3 mph, a 1.5 Litre turbocharged I3 engine coupled with a 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery.

The BMW i8 can accelerate from a dead-stop to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds with the initial turbodiesel concept car, unveiled at the 2009 International Motor Show Germany.

The production version of the BMW i8 was unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The i8 was released in Germany in June 2014.
